 God of All Humanity and Spirits

 

Sangjenim is also called Gahng Jeung-san Sangjenim, which references both His surname and His honorific dao name. In other words, the holy name of the True God who incarnated to harvest the human world is Gahng Jeung-san. It is for this reason that the dao organization that bears the truth of the True God is called Jeung San Do (“The Dao of Jeung-san Sangjenim”).

Now, simply because Sangjenim incarnated into this land does not mean that He is only God of the Korean people. Although His homeland on earth was Korea, Sangjenim is God of the Japanese, God of the Chinese, God of the Indians, God of the Americans, God of the Middle Easterners, God of the Europeans. He is God of the entire earth—of all humanity. He is the True God of the entire humanity of the fifty-thousand years of the Later Heaven. He is the all-encompassing Absolute Being.

In the coming of the times, the East and the West, existing under the same sky on the same earth, will both undergo the same gaebyeok. Under the single dominion of the principle of heaven and earth, everything and everyone will encounter gaebyeok in the same way.

In the coming of the times, when cosmic autumn begins, the gaebyeok of humanity will be waged by heaven and earth. This means that the myriad peoples of the world, all living under one sky, will suffer the same Autumn Gaebyeok.

This is the reason why the one God came into the world! Just as there are not two suns in the sky, there is but one God. Sangjenim is not only God of the many people living in this world, He is God of the countless spirits who have come into being since the beginning of humanity’s history and who now fill the celestial realm of the universe. Sangjenim is God of all that exist in the universe. God of all, as the Supreme Governor of all, rules over spirits and humanity. All living beings cannot but dwell within the bounds of the supreme authority of the True God.

전 인류와 뭇 신명의 하나님

상제님은 성은 강씨요 호는 증산이라고 해서 ‘강증산姜甑山 상제님’이라고 부른다. 다시 말해서 인간세상을 추수하러 오신 참하나님의 존호가 강증산이다. 그래서 그 참하나님의 진리를 집행하는 도체道體를 증산도라고 이름하게 되었다.

그런데 상제님이 이 땅으로 오셨다고 해서, 상제님이 우리 민족만의 하나님은 아니다. 우리나라를 고향으로 했을 뿐이지 상제님은 일본의 하나님이요, 중국의 하나님이요, 인도의 하나님이요, 미국의 하나님이요, 중동의 하나님이요, 유럽의 하나님이다. 전 지구, 전 인류의 하나님이시다. 또한 후천 5만 년 전 인류의 참하나님, 그런 절대자이시다.

이번에는 동양과 서양이 한 천지, 한 하늘 밑, 한 지구상에서 다 똑같이 개벽을 한다. 천지 이법이라는 하나의 틀 속에서 다 똑같이 개벽을 만나는 것이다.

이번에 우주의 가을철이 되어 천지에서 인간개벽을 하는데, 지구상에 사는 각색 족속들이 한 하늘 밑에서 똑같이 가을개벽을 당한다.

그래서 한 하나님이 오셨다! 천무이일天無二日인 것이다. 하늘에는 태양이 둘이 있지 않다. 그것과 같이 하나님은 한 분밖에 없다. 그리고 상제님은 지구상에 생존하는 그 많은 사람들의 하나님일 뿐만 아니라 인류 역사가 생긴 이래 이 대우주 천체권 내에 가득 차 있는 수많은 뭇 신명의 하나님이요, 우주만유의 하나님이시다. 그 만유의 하나님은 만유의 주재자로서 신명도 통치하고, 인간도 통치하신다. 모든 생명체가 참하나님의 통치권 내에서 다 수용을 당하게 되어 있다.

우리나라를 고향으로 했을 뿐이지 상제님은 전 인류의 하나님이시다.
Although His homeland on earth was Korea, Sangjenim is God of all humanity.
각색 종교의 시성들이 다르게 호칭을 했는데, 그것이 내내 한 분, 바로 상제님을 말한 것이다.
Although sages of different religions have cited different titles, they have all been speaking of the same One, Sangjenim.
조상의 유전인자가 수천 년 전지자손傳之子孫하여 흘러 내려왔지만, 이 가을개벽기에 그 자손이 하나라도 살아남아야 조상도 다 같이 살게 된다.
Although the genes of our ancestors have been passed down to their descendants over thousands of generations, in the coming time of the Autumn Gaebyeok at least one descendant must survive in order for all their ancestors to survive.

상제님은 지구상에 생존하는 그 많은 사람들의 하나님일 뿐만 아니라 우주만유의 하나님이시다.
Sangjenim is not only God of the many people living in this world, He is God of all that exist in the universe.

상제님께서는 현재 살아 있는 인간뿐 아니라 영적인 존재들, 인간으로 살다간 조상 선령신先靈神들의 묵은 원한까지도 다 함께 풀어주는 것이다.
Sangjenim resolves the bitterness and grief of not only contemporary people but also the bitterness and grief of the spirits, of our ancestors.
우주1년의 생장염장은 인간 생명뿐 아니라, 우리 마음세계의 법칙으로, 생물 진화의 법칙으로, 인류 역사의 법칙으로, 어느 것에나 다 적용된다.
The cosmic cycle of birth, growth, harvest, and rest applies not only to life, but also to evolution, the principle of our mind, human history, and everything else.

모든 생명체가 참하나님의 통치권 내에서 다 수용을 당할 수밖에 없다.
All living beings cannot but dwell within the bounds of the supreme authority of the True God.
나는 그것에 동의하지 않을 수 없다.
I cannot but agree with that.
역사의 발전 과정이라는 것은 천리를 따를 수밖에 없다.
The evolution of history cannot but follow the principle of heaven.
