우주변화의 길을 밝힌 역 철학

The philosophy of yoek (change) that reveals the process of change and transformation in the universe 

역 易 은 인류의 태곳적 황금 시절의 ‘뿌리 문화’ 신교에서 탄생했습니다. 역 철학은 만 유 생명이 근원으로 돌아가는 변화 법칙에 따라 우주의 목적과 동·서 통일문화의 길을 밝혀 줍니다.

I-ching ( the Book of Change ) was born from Singyo , “the root culture” of the ancient golden age of humankind. The I-ching philosophy reveals the purpose of the universe and the way of the unified East-West culture according to the law of change, whereby all life returns to its origin. 

상제님께서 십이지지 十二地支 물형부 物形 符 를 가르쳐 말씀하시기를 “이는 태고 太古 시 대의 도술 道術 이니 선경세계를 건설할 때에 크게 쓸 것이니라….” 하시니라. (2:143)

“While teaching the disciples about the talismans of animals representing the Twelve Earthly Branches, Sangjenim revealed that ‘The Twelve Earthly Branches are a dao mastery of ancient times, and I shall make momentous use of them in establishing the Paradise of Immortality’.” (2:50) 

주역 周易 은 개벽할 때 쓸 글이니 주역을 보면 내 일을 알리라. (5:248)

“The writings of the Book of Change will be used at the time of gaebyeok , so if you read the Book of Change , you will understand My work.” (5:178) 

역 易 은 천지 만물이 한순간도 멈추지 않고 변화해 간다는 뜻입니다. 우주는 일음일양 一陰一陽 운동을 하며 일정한 목적을 갖고 돌 아갑니다( 一陰一陽之謂道 ). 역도 易道 는 바로 이러한 우주 변화의 길이며, 역 철학은 그 변 화의 법칙을 밝힌 것입니다. 1871년(신미 辛 未 )에 동방 땅 조선에 강세한, 인간과 천지 만 물의 통치자 하느님이신 증산 상제님과 상 제님의 종통대권을 계승한 태모 고 수부님 은 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다.

According to I-ching , all things in Heaven and Earth are constantly changing. In the process of “once becoming Yin and once becoming Yang” ? that is Dao ? the universe progresses with a certain purpose. The Dao of change refers to the path of the universe’s change and transformation, and the I-ching philosophy reveals this principle of change and transformation. Jeung-san Sangjenim, the governor of all humans and all things in Heaven and Earth, was born in the Eastern land of Joseon in 1871 (the year of white sheep). His Great Dao lineage and authority was succeeded by Taemo Go Subunim. Of I-ching, they mentioned:

천지의 모든 이치가 역 易 에 들어 있느니라. (2:20)

“All of Heaven and Earth’s principles lie within change.” (2:49) 

우주의 순환 이치를 알아야 이 길을 찾을 수 있느니라. (11:122)

You must understand the principles concerning the universe’s cycle of change to find your way to this path.” (11:95) 

이 말씀의 핵심은, 생명의 근본( 道 ) 자리는 물론이고 상제님이 주관하시는 우주 만유의 운행 원리를 역 철학에서 밝혀 주고 있다는 것입니다. 상제님께서 이 땅에서 펼치신 9년 천지공사의 정신과 인류 구원의 역사 섭리 를 해독할 수 있는 열쇠가 바로 동양의 역 철 학입니다. 역 易 이란 글자는 무궁한 변화와 생성을 뜻합니다.

The key point of this statement is that the I-ching or yeok (change) philosophy reveals the core state of the life force (Dao) and the principle of the universe’s movements, which are controlled by Sangjenim. It is the yeok (change) philosophy that reveals the spirit of the work of renewing Heaven and Earth performed by Sangjenim in this Eastern land for nine years, as well as the providence of human salvation. In this respect, yeok (change) refers to eternal change and creation. 

역은 크게 주역 周易 과 정역 正易 으로 나뉘 는데 ? 환단고기 桓檀古記 ? ? 태백일사 太白逸 史 ? 에는 역도 易道 의 뿌리가 ‘환역 桓易 ’이라 밝히고 있습니다. 삼신상제님께서 인류 시 원 국가 환국 桓國 의 개창자이자 당신의 대행 자인 안파견 환인에게 ? 천부경 天符經 ? 을 계 시해 주셨고, 이 ? 천부경 ? 을 근거로 해서 나 온 환역이 역의 뿌리가 되었습니다. 환역은 시간과 공간의 본질을 다룬 ‘체원용방 體圓用 方 ’의 이치를 제시하여 역(변화) 철학의 물 꼬를 텄습니다. 이렇듯 역의 기원은 약 1만 년 전 인류 창세역사 시대로 거슬러 올라갑 니다. 그 뒤 환국을 계승한 배달국 시대에 동이족 東夷族 의 성인 제왕 복희 伏羲 가 약 5,500년 전에 삼신상제님께 ‘하도 河圖 ’를 계시받고 ‘복희팔괘 伏羲八卦 ’를 완성하였습 니다. 동방 배달국의 5세 태우의 太虞儀 환웅 의 막내아들인 태호 복희는 백두산에서 상 제님께 천제를 올리고 천하 天河 에서 하도를 계시받았습니다. 하도는 하늘과 땅에 가득 찬 생명의 질서를 자연수의 법칙으로 압축 한, 삼신상제님께서 내려 주신 인류사 최초 의 ‘계시도’입니다(제4장 2절 참조). 복희 성 황 聖皇 은 ? 천부경 ? 의 환역과 이 하도를 근거 로 천지일월과 만물의 창조 법칙을 천명한 팔괘를 최초로 창안하고 역( 羲易 )의 기틀을 정립하였습니다. 그래서 이 땅에 강세하신 삼신하느님, 증산 상제님께서는 태호 복희 太昊伏羲 가 ‘선천 인문 人文 의 시조’라 천명하 셨습니다.

Broadly speaking, the principle of “ yeok ” (change) can be classified into “ Ju-yeok ” ( The Book of Change ) and “ Jeong-yeok ” ( The Book of Right Change ). However, according to the book of “ Hwandangogi ” and “ Taebaekilsa ,” the root of yeok is “ Hwan-yeok .” Samsin Sangjenim revealed “ Cheonbugyeong ” to Anpagyeon Hwanin , the founder of Hwanguk and a representative of Sangjenim; based on “ Cheonbugyeong ,” Hwan-yeok became the root of yeok . Hwan-yeok initiated the history of the yeok (change) philosophy by presenting the following principle regarding the nature of time and space: “The symbol of body (time) is round and the symbol of body’s motion (space) is square.” The origin of the yeok dates back to the age of human genesis about 10,000 years ago. Approximately 5,500 years ago, in Baedal State, which succeeded Hwanguk , Bok-hui , the sage king of the Dongyi tribe, completed the his Eight Trigrams after receiving the revelation of Hado (Yellow River Diagram) from Samsin Sangjenim. Taeho Bok-hui , the youngest son of the fifth Tae-u-ui Hwanung of Baedal State, offered a Heavenly ritual to Sangjenim in the Baekdu mountain and received Hado in the Songhwagang (Songhua) River. Hado is the first “revelation” in human history bestowed by Samsin Sangjenim, and combined the order of life filled in Heaven and Earth with the law of natural number (see Chapter 4, Section 2). The Sage King Bok-hui was the first inventor of the Eight Trigrams, which explains the law of creation for Heaven, Earth, Sun and Moon, and all things based on Hwan-yeok of “ Cheonbugyeong ” and Hado . He also established the framework of the Hee-yeok . According to Samsin God, Jeung-san Sangjenim, who was incarnated on this Eastern land, Taeho Bok-hui is “the founding ancestor of human civilization in the Early Heaven.”

應須祖宗太昊伏 (응수조종태호복)인댄 何事道人多佛歌 (하사도인다불가)오

마땅히 선천 문명의 조종 祖宗 은 태호 복희 인데 웬일로 도 닦는 자들이 허다히 부처 타 령들이냐! (5:282)

The primogenitor of the Early Heaven’s civilization is undoubtedly the Great Bright Bok-hui . Why, then, do so many seekers drone on about Buddha? (5:190) 

복희를 이어 3천 년 전, 주나라의 시조 문 왕이 ‘문왕팔괘’를 완성하고 공자에 이르러 현재의 주역이 정립되었습니다. 정역은 19 세기 후반 조선의 역 철학자인 김일부 金一夫 대성사 大聖師 에 의해서 완성되었습니다. 이 처럼 역 철학의 체계를 정립한 주인공들은 모두 동방 배달의 혈통을 계승한 동이족 출 신의 성인이었습니다. 공자가 정립한 주역 은 괘효 卦爻 를 중심으로 윤리 도덕의 기틀을 확립하였으며, 김일부 대성사가 지은 정역 은 하도와 낙서를 중심으로 선천에서 후천 으로 우주가 전환하는 이치와 그 과정을 논 증했습니다. 주역이 괘상 卦象 의 논리로 주로 공간의 변화 현상을 다루는 데 비해, 정역은 우주 대자연의 여름철과 가을철이 바뀌는 섭리를 오묘한 천지의 수상 數象 의 논리로 밝 히고 있습니다. 주역과 정역은 한마디로 우 주 시공간의 변화 법칙을 밝힌 지혜의 보고 입니다. Following Bok-hui , King Wen , the founder of the Zhou dynasty, completed the Eight Trigrams of Munwang some 3,000 years ago. The current Ju-yeok ( The Book of Change ) was established at the time of Confucius. Jeong-yeok ( The Book of Correct Change ) was completed by Gim Il-bu of Joseon, a philosopher of Change, in the late nineteenth century. As such, the main individuals responsible for establishing the system of the yeok philosophy were the Dongyi tribe’s sages, who inherited the lineage of the Eastern Baedal state. Established by Confucius, Ju-yeok laid the foundation of ethics and morality based on the I-Ching’s eight trigrams and hexagrams. Jeong-yeok , which was founded by the Sacred Venerable Kim Il-bu, demonstrated the logic and process of the transition from the Early Heaven to Later Heaven based on Hado (Yellow River Diagram) and Nakseo (Luo River Diagram). While Ju-yeok primarily deals with the change of space based on the logic of the image of Eight Trigrams, Jeong-yeok reveals the providence of seasonal changes from Summer to Autumn in the great nature using the logic of the mysterious numbers of Heaven and Earth. In short, Ju-yeok and Jeong-yeok are a treasure trove of wisdom revealing the changing laws of time and space. (to be continued)
