우주의 1년 cosmic year

인간으로 오신 우주의 통치자 하나님이 신 상제님께서는 ‘이때는 천지성공을 해야 되는 때다’ 라고 하셨습니다. 천지성공이란 ‘인간으로서 너는 성공했다’고 천지 부모가 인정해 주는 유일한 성공입니다. 그런데 천지성공을 이루기 위해서는 먼저 천지가 둥글어가는 변화 법칙을 알아야 합니다. 

The governing Lord God Sangjenim declared that the time has come for us to pursue the success of heaven and earth. This is the only success that heaven and earth wishes for us. In order to achieve such a success, we must first understand the process through which heaven and earth transform.

그것이 바로 생장염장인 것입니다. 생장염장 이법에 따라 천지가 인간 생명과 문명을 낳아 기르는 시간의 가장 큰 주기가 있습니다. 그것을 ‘우주 1년’이라 합니다. 우주 1년은 지구 1년을 확대해서 생각하면 이해하기 쉽습니다.

This very process is birth, growth, harvest, and rest. There exists a larger scale of birth, growth, harvest, and rest. Heaven and earth give birth to and raise human lives and human civilizations in accordance with this larger cycle of time. We call this the ‘cosmic year.’ A cosmic year is easy to understand if we expand upon our understanding of an earth year. 

우주에 봄이 오면 하늘과 땅은 조화 造化 로 써 인간과 만물을 낳습니다. 그리고 여름 동안 만물을 전 지구에 널리 퍼뜨립니다. 이때 인종이 다양해지고 인구가 폭발적으로 늘어나며 문명도 다양하게 꽃핍니다.

In the cosmic spring, heaven and earth give birth to humanity and all things in accordance with the universe’s power of creation-transformation. During the cosmic summer, all living things spread across the globe. During this time, ethnic diversity increases, population explodes, and civilization flowers. 

그런데 이러한 변화를 일으키며 나아가는 시간의 화살은 최종 목적지가 있습니다. 바로 ‘우주의 가을철’입니다. 즉 우주의 봄여름은 가을을 향한 준비 과정입니다. 인간이 봄철에 태어나 여름 동안 종족을 퍼뜨리는 것도 가을철에 성숙하기 위한 것입니다.

The arrow of time that brings about such a change has a final destination. It is the ‘cosmic autumn.’ The cosmic spring and summer are a time of preparation for the cosmic autumn. The purpose of humanity being born in the cosmic spring and spreading across the world in the cosmic summer is to come to maturity in the cosmic autumn. 

여름에서 가을로 넘어가는 이 과정에서 천지가 뒤집어지는 엄청난 변혁이 일어납니다. 이것이 본서의 핵심 내용 가운데 하나인 가을 개벽 상황입니다. 이에 대해서는 이장의 뒷부분에서 상세히 살펴볼 것입니다.

During the transition from cosmic summer to cosmic autumn, a great catastrophic change takes place on a cosmic scale. This cataclysmic occurrence, known as gaebyeok , is one of the main points of this book. We will examine what occurs at the time of gaebyeok in greater detail later in this chapter.
