Donghak warns of the mysterious pandemic 160 years ago.
동학( 東學 )은 괴질 판데믹(pandemic) 출현을 선언하고 경고했습니다.
Donghak proclaimed and warned about a mysterious pandemic.
코로나 19는 현재 판데믹(세계적 대유행) 상황이 되었습니다. 초기에는 중국 우한의 알 수 없는 전염병으로 <우한 괴질>로도 불리웠습니다. 지금도 완벽히는 밝혀지지 않은 코로나 바이러스형 괴질로서 판데믹 상황으로 점점 커져가고 있습니다.
Covid-19 has morphed in to a pandemic. In its beginning, it was referred to as the unknown mysterious disease of Wuhan because of the fact that it originated from Wuhan, China. It is yet to be completely understood as the corona virus is increasingly spreading throughout the world as a pandemic.
“십이제국 괴질운수 다시개벽 아닐런가”
“12 Empires and the fate of mysterious disease. Is it not Gaebyeok once again?” 『용담유사』
동학이 160년전에 이런 상황을 예고했다? 아마 많은 분들이 모르실거라 생각합니 다. <십이제국 괴질운수> 십이제국은 열두 제국으로 대변되는 ‘전 세계’를 말합니다. 전 세계에 퍼지는 괴질 판데믹 운수라는 것 을 경고한 것입니다. 1860년대 당시에는 비행기도 없을 때라서 전 세계에 유행하는 판데믹은 상상도 할 수 없던 시절이었습니다.
So, did Donghak warn of this situation 160 years ago? I ’m sure most of you will not know about this. The 12 empires refers to the entire world which was defined as the 12 empires. It was a warning for the approaching of the fate of a mysterious pandemic which will spread to all parts of the world. 1860s, when this prophecy was proclaimed, was a time before the arrival of airplanes. A world scale pandemic was impossible to conceive during these times.
동학의 ‘십이제국 괴질운수’ 선언 이후로 지금까지 스페인독감(1918년), 홍콩 독감 (1968년), 신종플루(2009년) 등 네차례 정도 판데믹이 있었습니다. WHO(세계보건 기구)가 1948년 설립된 이후 판데믹을 선언 한 감염병은 1968년 홍콩 독감과 2009년 신종플루 발병 때 두차례였고 이번이 세 번 째입니다.
Since the proclamation of the 12 nations and their fate of the mysterious disease, there were four pandemics; Spanish Flu of 1918, Honking Influenza of 1968, Swine Flu of 2009, and the Covid-19. Covid-19 is the third pandemic since the establishment of the World Health Organization in 1948 after the Hongkong Influenza of 1968 and Swine Flu of 2009.
물론 동학이 경고한 “십이제국 괴질운수” 의 판데믹은 이번 코로나 19는 아닐겁니다. 지금은 치사율 1퍼센트에서 10퍼센트 안쪽의 판데믹입니다. 그러나 이번 코로나 판데믹의 경고를 놓쳐서는 안됩니다. 많은 전문가들이 변종바이러스가 더 강하게 찾아올 것이라 경고하고 있습니다. 결국에는 치사율이 100%에 이르는 괴질병겁 판데믹이 온다는 것을 동학은 이미 160년전에 선언하고 있습니다.
Of course, the fate of the mysterious disease of the 12 Empires may not be the Covid-19 that we’re currently facing. This virus has a death rate of 1%-10%. But we must not miss the warning of the Corona Pandemic. May experts are warning of a mutation of this virus which will strike harder and harder. Ultimately, Donghak was foretelling about the Pandemic of the mysterious disease which will have a 100 % death rate.
동학은 해결책에 대해서도 운을 띄우고 있습니다.
Donghak was also hinting of a solution.
“그말저말 다던지고 하날님을 공경하면 아동방 3년괴질 죽을 염려 있을쏘냐” 『용담 유사 ‘권학가’』
“If you throw away all other words and revere God, why would one need to be worry for their life during the 3 years of mysterious disease that is to begin in our Eastern land?”
앞으로 오는 괴질은 3년 동안 전 세계를 휩 쓰는 괴질입니다. 지금은 진단키트를 써서 진단하고 격리하고 치료하면 됩니다. 또한 이후에 백신과 치료제가 나오면 그것을 복용 하면 나을 수 있습니다. 그러나 이후에 몰아치는 괴질 병겁은 그 정도의 소병이 아닙니 다.
The mysterious disease is a pandemic that will sweep across the world for 3 years. For the current Covid-19, we can treat the patients by using a test kit to sort out the infected and isolating them. But the mysterious disease which is to come is not of such small scale.
동학에서는 이러한 때에는 “하날님만 공 경하면” 된다고 했습니다. 동학에서 말하는 ‘그 하날님’이 누구인가를 바르게 아는 것이 생존의 비밀이자 비결인 것입니다. 이에 대해서도 철저히 왜곡되어 있습니다.
When this time comes, Donghak tells us to just honor God. Knowing correctly who this God Donghak is referring to is the key and the secret to our own survival. But this message has been completely distorted.
이 동학 경전 속의 하날님이 누구신가? 그 분을 알려면 동학 창도의 배경이 되었던 1860년 경신년 음력 4월 5일의 <천상문답 사건>을 알아야 합니다. 이 또한 동학이 생겨나게 된 결정적인 순간이며 사건임에도 불구하고 우리가 배우지 못했고 알려지지 않았습니다.
Who is, then, this God in the scriptures of Donghak? In order for us to understand this, we need to go back to lunar April 5 th of 1860, the year of the white monkey, when the Question and Answer with the Heavens took place. This is a critical moment in the formation of Donghak but we have not learned about it and it is not well known to the world.
동학을 바르게 아는 것에서부터 미래의 희망이 열립니다. 동학을 바로 이해하는 것에서부터 불확실한 미래가 보이고 나와 가족과 민족과 인류의 미래를 위해서 우리가 무엇을 해야 하는가를 아시게 될 것입니다.
The hope for tomorrow begins with understanding about Donghak correctly. After we understand the Donghak correctly, we can start seeing through the uncertain future. We will learn about what we should do for the future of ourselves, our family, our people, and humanity.
