태양처럼 밝은 빛 속에서 상제님의 성음이 들려 (한/영)

‘지기금지원위대강’을 외우며 도공에 들어갔는데 몇 분 지나지 않았을 때였습니다. 상제님을 따르던 당시 성도님들이 모여 앉아 공부를 하고 있는 모습이 보였습니다. 성도님들은 보이는데 상제님은 안 보여서 너무 아쉬운 마음에 상제님을 뵙고 싶다는 간절한 마음이 들었습니다. 제가 성도님들한테 “상제님의 성도들은 이렇게 다 모여 계신데 왜 상제님은 안 보이십니까?” 하고 물어보니 모두 조용히 침묵만 지켰습니다. 제가 궁금하고 아쉬워서 또다시 물어보니 갑자기 동그란 달이 보였습니다. 달 주위 테두리에 전기불이 켜지듯이 동그랗게 빛으로 감싸이며 아주 환한 광명으로 비추어지더니 하늘이 나직해지는 것이었습니다. 저는 그 빛이 태양처럼 밝아져서 똑바로 못 보고 엎드렸습니다. 그때 “내가 상제니라” 하시는 상제님의 말씀이 들렸습니다. 이후 도공을 하면서도 ‘나는 상제님을 뵈었다’는 생각에 기쁨이 벅차올라 만세를 부르고 싶었습니다. 이번 도공체험을 통해 “나는 천지일월이니라” 하신 상제님의 말씀을 분명히 깨닫게 되었습니다. Hearing Sangjenim’s holy voice amidst brilliant radiance like the sun

It was not more than a few minutes after we began our dynamic meditation while chanting the jee-gee-geum-jee-wun-we-dae-gang. I saw a scene where the disciples who followed Sangjenim during His time on earth gathered around meditating. The disciples were there but Sangjenim was not present, so with a saddened heart I desperately yearned to meet Sangjenim. I asked the disciples, “The disciples of Sangjenim are all gathered here like this, but why isn’t Sangjenim present?” Everyone remained silent. I was curious and sad, so I asked again. Suddenly a full moon appeared. The outside of the moon was surrounded by light, as if someone flipped a light switch. This light glowed resplendently, and then the Heavens lowered. The light became as radiant as the sun, so I could not look directly at it and I prostrated myself. At that very instant, I heard Sangjenim’s voice saying, “I am Sangje”. Afterwards, while doing the dynamic meditation, I was so delighted at the thought of having seen Sangjenim that I wanted to shout with joy. Through this experience of the dynamic meditation, I clearly understood Sangjenim’s saying, “I am Heaven, Earth, Sun and Moon” (Aug. 26th).
